“I was waiting with baited breath until I could order my prints. I was then waiting with baited breath until the order was confirmed. I then waited with baited breath until they arrived here in Melbourne, Australia. Now I am waiting with baited breath until they are back from the framing shop and I can hang all three in my house and gaze at them adoringly each time I pass them.

The actual print sizes are a bit larger than I thought, which gives the viewer an unrivaled opportunity to closely observe the incredible detail, sensational use of colour and admire the way I can get lost in the story by picking out all the characters and whatever props Josh gave them, so you can think to yourself “Oh, that’s the broom that Esk used!” or “Oh, that’s the luggage being homocidal!”. The other amazing thing about the prints is that your own imagination can be aided by Josh’s interpretation of the books, so when you re-read them, Josh’s characters come alive in a new way that adds to the experience in an almost tactile sense.

I’m looking forward to the next release of Josh’s prints, and busily saving my small change to aid my next breathless experience!

Also, on a side note, the staff at the Josh Kirby Estate were sensational to deal with. Always responding to my emails within 48 hours, always answering my questions and being very helpful and forthcoming with any other information that I might have needed, but didn’t know that I needed!”
