I had the privaledge to be invited to the exhibition of Josh Kirby's works at the Walker Museum in Liverpool. It was astonishing to see the amount and quality of works (there were only a fraction of his works on show but it filled a gigantic Museum space.) The reason Josh is such a brilliant artist is because he literally created universes with such reality and depth that not only can one can step into them but their vibrant colours and fine details burst into our own world. In this Museum was not only his giant canvasses but illustrations that were used for Star Wars posters and so many Discworld works that a trip around the show was like a portal into a trillion years of endless galaxies. Josh is a transportational magician and so not only is the news you are bring his prints and legacy to the public eye good news for the arts and Discworld fans, it is great and important news for the world; as this will allow them to step into the wonderful fantastic portals that he created.

Wonderful to see this legacy continue! Having been privileged to see more of Josh Kirby's world than most, it was with great delight that I recently was able to see the interview done with him available through the website. It only strengthened my regard for him and for his work. I think Terry Pratchett's comment about Josh "creating" Discworld is very relevant -there was and is a depth of imagination to the work which could yield many other worlds to the roaming mind and which always rewards the exploring traveller. I'm very pleased to see this celebration taking place and to have this foundation laid down.

Long may Josh's work continue to bring brightness and wonder into this world from the many others that it touches!

Hello JK Estate,

Thanks for inviting me to the sneak preview of JK’s Disc World Prints! I did not know what to expect especially after attending the JK Exhibit at The National Gallery in Liverpool, England and seeing JK's paintings live, up close and personal. Your prints far surpass my expectations and hats off to your Master Printer, Greg Ortega. I am blown away at the detail and the life like feel of oil paints on canvas. The prints have captured the master! I know JK would be very excited about the quality and integrity of these prints. Please put them aside for me.
Thanks again and much success,
KK
